RSS Feeds
RSS feeds are the best thing since sliced bread! Wow, all my favorite library news in one spot without having to access each separate blog. Who are these smart people that create all these great applications? I'm addicted to The Top Shelf, Shelf Consumed, Blue Skunk, and Never Ending Search.
Flickr
Today I explored Flickr and Flickr Toys. What fun!! I could spend days here making trading cards, magazine covers, cubes, and posters. Kids will LOVE these! I can see so many applications- book reports, character studies, etc. Here's a poster I created.

Duct-Tape_Administrators_Fall2009 016
The eighth grade students had such fun duct taping their principal, Mr. Steele, to the cafeteria wall. Now, that's a good use of duct tape.

On March 6, 2010 Park Crest Middle School Library had a fund raiser at Schlotzsky's and Barnes & Noble at La Frontera in Round Rock, TX. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun with a great student crew. Here is some of my fearless crew- Scott (Adam H.'s friend), Adam H., Paris B. and Nazia S. Not only was it fun, but it also tasted good.
